El Paso International Airport was built in a pier-satellite layout, with a central entrance and gates that branch out to the east and west. These east and west areas of the airport are the concourses, labeled A and B. In concourse A, gates are numbered from A1 to A4 while concourse B has gates numbered from B1 - B11, for a grand total of 15 gates spread out across a handful of different domestic carriers. The airport also has two floors, a lower and upper level with different amenities located on each. On the lower level you can find ticketing, baggage claim and pickup, rental car counters and of course the main entrance. On the upper level is where you will find all the gates after getting through the TSA checkpoints, Over the past few years, DSM has gone through several renovations to accommodate the growing customer base. Inside the terminal, you'll have access to a food court located in between B6 and B11 on the upper level. You can find all kinds of food, mainly from chain's like Carlos and Mickey's, Pizza Hut Express, Quizno's and Starbucks Coffee. You can also find Burger King, Red Mango, a Best Buy kiosk for last-minute tech buys and so many more amenities. There are also a large number of accessible restrooms for travellers to use, and easy navigation between the two levels via escalators.

- At El Paso International Airport, all the gates on the upper level are split up and used by specific airlines and the gate you'll be headed to will depend completely on the carrier you booked your flight with. In concourse A, the gates A1 and A2 are used for American Airlines and American Eagle. At gate B1 you can find Delta Airlines, but gates B3-B6 house Southwest Airlines flights. American Airline and American Eagle make another appearance at B7, United Airlines and United Express use gates B9 and B11. Allegiant Air flights can be found at gate B10.
