As the second largest airport in Washington, Spokane International Airport is one of the most important air travel hubs in the entire region. It has three main parts: concourses A and B in the middle, Concourse C to the southwest and the Ground Transportation area to the north. All of these areas are connected to one another. Concourse A and B are both situated in the same general area and are connected by a Rotunda. Concourse A is home to 5 gates, numbered 11-15 while concourse B has 8 numbered from 1-8. Concourse C has 9 gates of its own split into two levels, numbered 30-32 on the upper level and 21a, 21b, as well as 22-26 located on the lower level. In the main area of the airport, you'll find the baggage claim and ticketing areas before you go through the TSA checkpoint. You'll also find the car rental counters there so you can deal with your ground transportation on your way out of the airport. In any of the 3 concourse areas of the airport, you can find any number of food and retail locations to take advantage of any last minute purchase needs before boarding your flight. - In each of the concourses, there are a handful of domestic carriers that are designated at particular gates. In concourse A, Southwest Airlines is the primary operating carrier, using gates numbered 11-15. Both Delta Airlines and United Airlines both operate out of Concourse B. Concourse C is home to quite a few carriers also, with American Airlines and Alaska Airlines and its sister company Horizon Air all operating in and out of it, with Alaska and American operating out of gates on the upper level while Horizon air has the lower level gates.
