JFK Airport Information Overview
JFK Airport is always building towards increased accessibility for its customers. Their light-rail service, AirTrain JFK, connects terminals around the airport as well as with the main municipal subways and buses. Terminals & Gates At JFK Airport
- Terminal 1 includes Gates 1-11. (Both Terminal 8 and Terminal 5 have Gates 1-11, so make sure to check your Terminal number as well as Gate number.) Find Terminal 1 at the Southwest side of the compound. The following airlines operate through Terminal 1: Aeroflot, Aeromexico, Air China, Air France, Alitalia, Australian, Brussels Airlines, Cayman Airways, China Eastern, Eva Airways, Fly Jamaica Airways, Inerjet, Japan, Korean, LOT, Lufthansa, Meridiana, Norwegian, Royal Air Maroc, Saudi Arabian, TAME, and Turkish.
- Terminal 2 includes Gates C60-C70. Terminal 2 is at the South side of the Airport compound and East of Terminal 1. Delta Airlines (First Class/Medallion/Business Elite) operates through this terminal.
- Terminal 4 includes Gates A3 and A5, B22-B39, and B20 and B41. Terminal 4 is at the East end of the compound. The following airlines operate through Terminal 4: Air Europe, Air India, Air Jamaica, Arik Air, Asiana, Avianca, Caribbean Airlines, China Airlines, COPA, Czech, Delta, Egypt Air, EL AL, Emirates, Etihad, JetBlue, KLM, Kuwait, LACSA, Miami Air, North American, Pakistan, Singapore, South African, Sun Country, SWISS, TACA International, Transaaro, Uzbekistan, Virgin America, Virgin Atlantic, and XL Airways.
- Terminal 5 includes Gates 1-30. Terminal 5 is just North of Terminal 4. The following airlines operate out of Terminal 5: Aer Lingus, Hawaiian, and JetBlue.
- Terminal 7 includes Gates 1-12 (including a Gate 11 and 11A). Terminal 7 is at the North end of the airport compound. The following airlines operate through Terminal 7: Aerolineas Argentinas, ANA, Air Canada, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Iberia, Icelandair, OpenSkies, and Qantas.
- Terminal 8 includes Gates 1-8, 9-14, and 16 (in Concourse B), and Gates 31-47 in Concourse C. The following airlines operate through Terminal 8: Air Berlin, Alaska Airlines, American, American Eagle, Finnair, LAN, Malev, Qatar, Royal Jordanian, TAM, and US Airways. Terminal 8 is closest to the Expressway entrance.
There are several Airport parking lots connected with the terminals. Terminal 1 and 2 have access to the Green Parking Lot, and Terminal 4 with Blue Parking Lot.
