Getting Around RDU Airport
There are 2 Terminals at RDU with Terminal 2 being the larger one.
Terminal 1 - From the baggage claim and ticketing area, you will make your way to the concourse level for your Southwest airline departure. Service and amenities include ATMs, snack and drink vending machines, a special event desk, 24-hour flower shop, food and beverage locations, and three retail shops.
Terminal 2 - The concourse in Terminal 2 is located on the ticketing level above baggage claim. There are 28 gates in this departure area, and many amenities to help passengers pass the time until their flights. Airline clubs are locate on this level, ATMs, newspaper vending machines, food and beverage vending machines, currency exchange, 24-hour flower shop, the USO lounge, XpresSpa, KidsWorks, duty free shops, and more.
If you're flying into or out of RDU, you'll find ground transportation services located outside of the baggage claim areas at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The airport authority manages traffic flow to ease up on congestion, and to make sure travelers get to where they need to be on time. Taxis, ridesharing, public bus and rail, hotel shuttles and rental cars are all available options, and you can get the information you need for each of these through the ground transportation information center.
