HNL Airport Is A Part Of U.S. History
HNL is one of the busiest airports in the United States and is close to many of Hawaii's main attractions. Over 21 million passengers fly into the state to enjoy the beautiful landscape and culture. If you're lucky enough to fly off of the Reef Runway, you'll be on the world's first major runway constructed entirely offshore. The terminals are easy to get to by City Bus, as well as the Commuter Terminal on the Ground Level. Parking Garages surround the terminals, and valet parking is available. Your airline gate will be assigned to you when you check-in,
Honolulu International Airport Gate Information
- There are 2 levels consisting of 2 terminals, the Commuter Terminal and Interisland Terminal, at HNL airport. Ticketing is located on Level 2 in the Overseas Terminal.
- On Level 1, you'll find baggage claim, 6 airlines, security checkpoints, restrooms, information stations, medical assistance, ATM machines, eateries and cafe's, new stands and gift shops. This level is also where the car rental kiosks are located, and each area is marked A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H so that you can better identify the area you should be in. HNL Commuter Terminal parking lots are also connected to the first Level.
- On Level 2, gates are split into sections. Gates 6-11 are located North/West of the main concourse, 14-23 are North of the main concourse, 26-34 are East of the main concourse, 49-53 are South of gates 26-34, and 54-61 are located South/East of the main concourse. There are a variety of amenities including restaurants, bars, gift shops, new stands, and other full-service amenities in the Overseas Terminal as well.
Allow yourself extra time to get to the airport and check-in. HNL is a busy airport and although fully staffed with quality service representatives, lounge areas, restaurants and parking spaces can fill up fast.
