In a city as warm and beautiful as Honolulu, it should come as no surprise that there are tons of things to see and do while you're here. No matter what types of things you're into, you're likely to find it here, since it's located on the biggest of the islands. There is so much rich history to be found on all corners of the island, that you won't just have to stop with official museums or attractions. For those who like learning in a more traditional way, try to Bishop Museum to find out more about the lush nature around the island. The Hawaiian Mission Houses Historic Site and Archives museum holds plenty of information about the political history of the island. Besides its natural beauty, there's tons of art on the island to be enjoyed as well. Head to the Honolulu Museum of Art to see work from artists from all over the world and then some, while the Shangri La Museum of Islamic Art, Culture & Design is also a great place to visit. Of course, more than anything, the main draw to Honolulu, and the rest of Hawaii is its tropical weather and stunning beaches. It's easy to spend hours on end outside since the weather is pretty much nice all the time, aside from rain.
